Terms Entered in Search Tools
When you enter a name, place, or other term in a search box, the query goes to the outside provider that operates the tool. Harris County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's handling of the query is governed by its policy.
Messages Sent to Us
If you send an email or contact-form message, we retain the information needed to review and answer it. We do not share the message outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Information Collected During Visits
Standard technical information may be received automatically when a page loads. This information helps operate and understand the site.

- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- The referring website, when supplied
