Nature of the Service

This is an independent reference with no ties to Harris County government or the State of Georgia. It does not store official jail, court, parole, probation, or corrections records. It cannot confirm custody, order a release, post bond, or file a request or court document for a visitor.

The pages identify official Harris County and Georgia inmate-record resources and may connect visitors to outside research services. Official access to Georgia agency records remains subject to the Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. § 50-18-70 et seq., applicable exemptions, and the procedures of the office holding the record.

Acceptable Use Rules

You agree to use the service in a lawful manner and to respect the rights and access of others.

• Do not violate any law through use of the site.
• Do not use information to stalk, threaten, intimidate, or harass anyone.
• Do not use site content for hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions.

No Consumer Reports

Harris County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It supplies no consumer report, credit report, background check, or screening service. Advertising and search partners shown on the site are not offered as screening providers through this site. You agree not to use any information reached here for an FCRA-covered purpose, including:

• Employment, hiring, retention, promotion, or firing
• Rental, housing, or tenant screening
• Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing
• Licensing, permits, or government-program eligibility
• Any other decision regulated by the FCRA

Outside Services and Links

The site links to sheriff and corrections sources, release records, government portals, legal-help resources, and third-party search services. A link does not endorse the destination. We do not control or accept responsibility for an outside service's content, privacy practices, data quality, terms, or availability. Review the destination's rules before using it.

Service Provided As Is

The site and all content are offered “as is” and “as available,” without express or implied warranties. We do not promise:

• That any record detail is accurate, complete, or current
• That access will always be uninterrupted
• That the service has no errors, defects, or security weaknesses
• That a partner search will return a complete result

Custody, release, and public-record data can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement by the Harris County Sheriff's Office, Georgia Department of Corrections, a court, or any other government agency.

Limits of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Harris County Released Inmates and its operators will not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages arising from access to, inability to access, reliance on, or use of the site or a linked service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Harris County Released Inmates and its operators from claims, losses, costs, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees arising from your use of the site or your violation of these terms.

Ownership of Site Materials

Restriction or Loss of Access

Georgia Law Controls

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction within Georgia.

If One Term Is Invalid

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected provision will be limited or adjusted only as much as necessary to make it enforceable.
